In a crucial move to continue making our presence felt in the Midwest, Plei officially debuted in our 25th region, Kansas City! 🍖
We kicked off this region expansion in June 2024, partnering with an expansive indoor facility known as EPIC Center KC. 🤝
Now, we’re offering games at another venue: ZSports! As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

There you’ll find the only indoor/outdoor turf complex in the Kansas City metro area, known as ZSports. Operating since 2011, this superfacility is best described as a thriving hub where locals come together to celebrate sports and life at its best. At its core, though, it’s a hotspot for soccer players of all ages and skill levels, offering only the best fields for the region’s growing population of ballers.
Three main field spaces can be found at ZSports, each of them working to establish this facility as the very best in area for the beautiful game. We’ll start with the one that you’ll see first upon arriving: their outdoor turf field.
Measuring 313 by 248 ft, this expansive pitch is ideal for full-size games of 11v11, but that’s not all that can be enjoyed here. You’ll find that versatility is prioritized throughout all of the spaces found at ZSports, and this outdoor field is no exception. The game sizes available here are virtually endless takes to smaller field overlays as well as extra nets of varying dimensions.
As a result, you can always expect to enjoy a pickup game no matter how many people end up showing up.
All things considered, you’ll probably end up spending the bulk of your visit in ZSports’ indoor spaces. That’s thanks in part to their last two field spaces, starting with a 180 by 84 ft turf pitch which is perfect for 7v7 or 8v8.
Finally, a technical lab field that measures 83 by 38 feet is available as well. Don’t get too excited, though; this one is reserved for exclusive use by the youth teams of the Kansas City Soccer Club.
All dedicated athletes know that improving your game goes beyond just putting in work on the field. You also have to put in work off of it. ZSports is well aware of that as well, offering a space known as the ZSports Health Club. This is a full-fledged gym and fitness space, equipped with cutting-edge exercise machines and a variety of free weights that help cater to every fitness goal and aspiration.
If you thought the versatility was over, you were wrong. ZSports is not just for soccer players. Not only are all the indoor turf spaces able to accommodate other sports like dodgeball, kickball, wiffle baseball or flag football, but pickleball has a presence of its own as well.
The popular paddle sport can be played at ZSports across three separate courts, located immediately besides the main indoor turf field.
Remember how we said that you’ll be spending a lot of your time inside at ZSports? We technically didn’t even give the main reason why that’s the case. All of the aforementioned amenities are great, but what if we told you that this facility houses its very own sports pub?
It has its own name, too: ZPub. Featuring a full-service kitchen & bar, you can dine in here and catch live sports entertainment in multiple ways. For starters, the dining area is literally pitchside, so you can easily watch all the action taking place on the indoor turf field. In case you prefer to watch the big game, the countless flat screen TVs found throughout the space have you covered.
All this while savoring a delicious meal and sipping on a refreshing beer or cocktail from the bar. Seriously, does it get any better than this?
