In summer 2022, Plei expanded into its 10th region, this time landing in the City of Angels: Los Angeles, California. 🎥
Beyond our partnerships with private pickup facilities, we also work to have a presence at the fields found at local public parks! West Covina Sportsplex is one of those. As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner fields in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

A former location of Big League Dreams Sports Parks, the site of what is now known as West Covina Sportsplex was acquired by the city of West Covina in December 2021. Renovations began not too long after, improving the conditions of the baseball fields, office & restaurant spaces found here. 📆
Flash forward to present time, and West Covina Sportsplex is better than ever. Baseball is - of course - the main event at this facility, represented by the six (6) fields, each one designed to represent a famous stadium. Some of the iconic replicas you’ll find here are: Angel Stadium, Wrigley Field, Yankee Stadium, among others. 🏟️
We might be a bit biased when we say this, but our personal favorite detail about this facility is the inclusion of a fieldhouse for the purposes of the beautiful game, which happens to be located right smack in the middle of the site. ❤️🔥
Within this fieldhouse is a soccer pitch lined for 8v8 pickup games, creating the perfect environment for local West Covina ballers to show off their skills. Complete with state-of-the-art synthetic turf and professional lighting, this field is easily one of the best in the surrounding area. 👌
Beyond baseball & soccer, other key amenities of this newly renovated facility include picnic & playground areas, establishing a family-friendly feel to the environment. 👪
Previously existing during the Big League Dreams days was a full-fledged restaurant. Fortunately, it remains today, this time restored and revamped like never before. 🆕
That’s right: after your pickup soccer game, feel free to make your way to the club restaurant, which includes a full-service bar and plenty of high-quality food options that will leave you satisfied before you head home. 😋
