Way back in July 2019, the Plei expanded outside Florida for the first time, partnering with multiple facilities in Houston, Texas. As of October 2024, we now boast a presence at over 40 different places to play the beautiful game in the region! 🚀

Located on the second floor of a local shopping center, Upper 90 Indoor Soccer is the leading facility in East Houston, which is thanks in large part to their exciting menu of leagues, programming & amenities.
It all goes down on their singular synthetic turf field, which is boarded up to provide an authentic futsal feel that allows you to play off the wall as much as your heart desires. 5v5 is - course - on the cards at all times, a game size that encourages quick play and rapid decision making.
What sets Upper 90 apart from the rest - other than their vibrant tournaments - is their strong attention to detail. It’s not every day you come across a soccer facility with this much cool artwork. Fortunately, you can find plenty of it here.
For starters, the 5v5 pitch is surrounded on three sides by colorful galaxy-themed graffiti, helping to establish a sort of vibe that probably belongs in FIFA Street. Over by the entrance is a mural depicting the 2012-13 Barcelona team celebrating a goal.
In case you’re curious to know which one it was, it was Messi’s 2nd goal against AC Milan in the second leg of the UCL Round of 16.
Arguably the coolest mural at Upper 90 - and our personal favorite - depicts the legendary South American idols of decades past: Pelé and Diego Maradona. You can find them plastered onto a colorful wall of miscellaneous graffiti patterns, with the facility’s logo nestled in between the two.
All this stunning artwork isn’t going to waste. Upper 90 opens up their unique spaces for field rentals & birthday parties. To put it blunt, this facility is never lacking business. As far as leagues are concerned, various divisions are offered for men, women, youth and even co-ed.
Also available at this Houston facility is a weight room, which provides guests the opportunity to burn off some more calories in case 5v5 didn’t already get the job done. Afterwards, head to their concessions stand and grab yourself a snack or drink to cool off.
