Just two days after we announced our expansion into California’s capital in April 2024, we doubled down by launching in another huge West Coast market: the San Francisco Bay Area! 🌉
We kicked off our presence in this diverse region by partnering with SFF Soccer - Mission Bay Field! We then doubled down by joining forces with The Park San Jose. Totaling to about 48,00 square feet, Universal Sports Academy is a multi-sport facility located in the city of Martinez in Contra Costa County, California. Let’s dive into everything they offer, starting with none other than the beautiful game. ⚽
It’s hard to argue that soccer is the sport that dominates the scene at Universal Sports Academy. Ballers of all skill levels have the choice between playing on either turf or hard court, but who’s stopping you from playing on both? 🤷
Don’t worry about making a decision between one or the other, just make sure to bring both flats and turf boots and get ready to ball out for hours. Universal Sports Academy offers a massive turf field, measuring 112 feet by 224 feet. This sort of size makes it suitable for pickup soccer games as large as 8v8 or 9v9. 🙌
We mentioned versatility earlier, didn’t we? That’s right: this same field can be split in half, providing two (2) smaller fields for 5v5. It can also be divided into thirds to accommodate even smaller games as well as convenient training spaces for other sports. 👀
On the futsal side of things, you’ll find two (2) hard courts - each measuring 100 by 45 feet - that are ideal for some fast-paced 4v4 pickup. ⚡
Beyond the beautiful game, baseball & softball are also very prominent here. The facility also features a total of four (4) batting cages & pitching lanes for young all-stars to practice their craft. 💪
Oh, and the previously mentioned turf field can also be configured to accommodate baseball & softball training sessions, as well as lacrosse, kickball, football & rugby. Meanwhile, the hard courts can also support pickleball & dodgeball. 🆒
