In October 2021, the Plei App expanded into our 7th market, Chicago, Illinois! 💜 Since then, we have been hosting pickup games at TOCA Soccer and Sports Center Evanston, previously known as Quad Indoor Sports. We are looking forward to continuing doing so for many years to come. 😇

If you’re a veteran player at this venue, you probably knew it as Quad Indoor Sports before it was taken over by the TOCA brand in the summer of 2024. This rebranding meant a fresh new start for the long-standing sports dome.
Welcome to 65,000 sq. ft. of sports action. TOCA Evanston boasts one 102 x 56 yard full field that is configurable into six different sizes depending on the activity. This means that it is perfectly suitable for pickup games as small as 5v5 or as big as 8v8 or 9v9! Exact field dimensions are as follows:
F1 - 102 x 56 yards
F2 - 51 x 56 yards
F3 - 56 x 33 yards
F4 - 50 x 25 yards
F6 - 33 x 25 yards
Speakers throughout the space provide music for everyone to listen to while in action. You’ll also be glad to know that the facility is fully air-conditioned, so you don’t have to worry if you happen to break a sweat.
New to the facility thanks to the TOCA takeover is the addition of tech-enhanced soccer training programming that TOCA is best known for. Available for rent at TOCA Evanston is the “TOCA Touch Trainer”, which is essentially the same concept as a pitching machine in baseball, but instead it shoots out soccer balls.
The machine holds up to 18 balls at a time and is controlled by an app. Unique features include a “smart target” which tracks shots on goal. The best part is that results and visual feedback can be seen on a TV screen in real-time.
Beyond unique technology like this, TOCA offers plenty more groundbreaking programming that has given what was previously Quad Indoor Sports the upgrade of a lifetime. And we can only say that it was deserved after so many years serving the local Evanston community.

Happen to get hungry or thirsty during your visit? Enjoy a broad selection of hot foods, yummy snacks and drinks at TOCA Evanston’s very own concession stand, including (but not limited to) hot dogs, pizza, popcorn, pretzels and draft beers for our 21+ beer lovers!
Multi-purpose means multi-purpose. TOCA Evanston offers seasonal sports programs and camps throughout the year for all ages and skill levels, and there’s no better place to take part than at a weather-immune dome location.
That being said, soccer isn’t the only sport that’s played here. The fields provide plenty of space and necessary equipment for basketball, lacrosse, softball, baseball, football, field hockey - even cricket!
The ridiculous amount of space also means that the venue is perfect for corporate events, birthday parties, tournaments, you name it! TOCA Evanston’s fields are also completely open for rental for any kind of league, youth or adult. Fun fact: they are the only indoor sports facility in Evanston to offer their spaces for all kinds of sports and activities.
The best part is that, regardless of the event that you choose, the staff here will be there every step of the way to ensure everything plays out precisely how you envisioned it.
Let’s briefly go over TOCA Evanston’s in-facility rules. First and foremost, outdoor soccer cleats are prohibited, so plan ahead and make sure to grab your turf boots on the way out the door!
The other rules are pretty standard stuff for an indoor facility: no gum, no spitting, no food or drinks (besides water, of course) on the turf and no unsportsmanlike behavior. Also, only players, coaches and referees are allowed on the field.
TOCA Evanston also asks that you keep the fields tidy and to not film or take photos inside without explicit permission from their management.
