In an effort to extend our presence in the Tri-State Area in April 2024, Plei officially debuted in its 24th region, New Jersey! ☀️
We began offering pickup games in the Garden State by first partnering with a pair of veteran facilities: All Nations Recreation Center and the New Jersey Stallions Academy. This time, we’ve joined forces with another local facility known as The Soccer Palace. 🤝
As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
Operating out of the New Jersey National Guard Armory of West Orange is The Soccer Palace, one of two of the facility’s locations in the Garden State. The first thing worth pointing out is that they definitely live up to their name: the 50,000 sq. ft. warehouse space that they work out of has been converted into a hotspot for the beautiful game.
That being said, you’ll find an expansive turf field space here, which from end to end can be used for full-sized matches of 11v11. That probably sounds great as is, but there’s actually a cherry on top: this pitch is also lined to accommodate four (4) smaller fields for 6-a-side.
Whether you prefer small-sided pickup or a more classic experience with 11v11, The Soccer Palace at West Orange Armory is there to satisfy your footy desires.
You’ve probably already realized from the photos, but this Soccer Palace location is just as much for ballers of all skill levels as it is for spectators just looking to catch some action from the stands. Plenty of bleachers and standing areas are available off to the side of the pitch.
Naturally, the facility also has a snack stand available to accommodate the hundreds of visitors that walk through their doors every day.
Beyond pickup, The Soccer Palace also makes sure to provide some enjoyable programming throughout the year for their loyal players. Everything from leagues & tournaments to camps, clinics & special events can be enjoyed at this West Orange facility.
By the way, it’s worth mentioning that The Soccer Palace’s West Orange location is conveniently located near a couple notable destinations that may interest you after you’re done showing off your tekkers.
Feel free to hit up the Livingston Mall, Turtle Back Zoo or McLoone’s Boathouse afterwards.
