Back in July 2021, the Plei App continued its expansion efforts, stepping foot for the first time in our 6th market, the DMV. 🦅 Since April 2024, we have been hosting pickup games at The nZone in Virginia, and we are looking forward to continuing doing so for many years to come. As part of our new blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
With over a decade of experience to its name, The nZone is as certified as they come. Located in the suburb of Chantilly, this venue is a sprawling sports & athletic center with turf fields, courts, a gym & plenty of programming to keep visitors coming through their doors. 🚪
In total, you’ll find three (3) premium artificial turf fields here, each with 2” of rubber in-fill installed and air-conditioning throughout. ❄️
Let’s start with Field 1, which measures 165 feet by 68 feet, making it ideal for 7v7 or 8v8 games. Out of the three fields throughout The nZone, this is the only one enclosed by boards. Also lacking a touchline, you’ll be able to play futsal-style pickup games here, with full freedom to play off the wall. 😎
Field 1 can also be used for box lacrosse, among other turf sports. 🥍
Meanwhile, Fields 2 and 3 both measure approximately 125 feet by 62 feet, making them significantly smaller than Field 1. As a result, you can expect to play slightly smaller games of 6v6 or 5v5. 👌
Both Field 2 and 3 are lined for lacrosse as well, and can also accommodate other turf sports like flag football, pickleball and more. 🏈🥍
The sports action doesn’t stop here, though. Elsewhere in the facility, you’ll find a 21,600 sq. ft. wood floor area which houses a total of two (2) wood courts. Individually, both of these courts can be set up one of the following:
On top of that, this space has running lanes as well as a performance training area. 💪

The nZone also features a full-fledged gym, equipped with cardiovascular and strength training equipment, as well as an aerobic studio for activities like yoga, dancing and more. 🏋️🧘💃
The cherry on top at this facility is none other than Fuel Café, The nZone’s very own cafeteria and social area. Look forward to a generous menu of breakfast & lunch options, featuring sandwiches, salads, coffee, juices, smoothies, you name it. 😋
Just so you know, their smoothies are nothing short of incredible. Don’t leave without trying one. 🥤
