In February 2023, Plei officially expanded into our 14th region: Detroit, Michigan. 🚗
The first facility that we partnered with was Livonia Athletic District, located west of Downtown Detroit. Now, we are excited to announce that we are now hosting pickup games at the sports field found at The Hawk - Farmington Hills Community Center! 🤝

Never been to The Hawk before? Picture a vibrant facility packed with amenities made especially for families, athletes, and individuals seeking better health and entertainment. Located in Farmington Hills, MI, this community center boasts a mix of indoor and outdoor experiences that’ll make you want to stay forever.
Before diving into the great amenities this complex has to offer, let’s kick things off with what it has in store for soccer enthusiasts, like yourself! The Hawk boasts one (1) stadium with a regulation size American football field encircled by a running track. While it appears as an American football field, this turf pitch is also lined for the beautiful game and sized perfectly for 9v9 and 11v11 matchups! ⚽
It’s worth noting that the stadium has bathrooms, locker rooms, bleachers on both sides and a press box, giving this space an authentic high school football atmosphere. Both the track and field are open during scheduled building hours any time they’re not being used by a program or rented out.
Beyond playing on this field, The Hawk - Farmington Hills has a Central Turf Field available for footy players, as well. This field is lined for different sports and soccer game sizes, making it a convenient spot to ball out on. However, if you’re looking for that classic footy experience, The Hawk has a natural grass pitch that you can use to kick around on. Just don’t forget your footy boots! 😁
Baseball, softball or kickball players can also find a well-maintained softball field here at The Hawk. This natural grass baseball diamond has ample seating for spectators, making it a great spot for local leagues, tournaments, or a casual pick-up game with friends.
Whether you enjoy the game of tennis or you’re more of a pickleball player, there’s no need for court conflict here. The Hawk - Farmington Hills Community Center caters to both pickleball and tennis enthusiasts with outdoor courts designed for players of all skill levels. You’ll find five (5) outdoor, asphalt tennis courts and then (10) outdoor, asphalt pickleball courts at The Hawk. 🎾
Moving inside now, you’ll discover The Hawk’s gymnasium, which is a versatile space for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball. Whether you're working on your jump shot, setting up a volleyball game, or joining the pickleball craze, this facility offers ample opportunities to engage in sport. Be sure to check the open gym schedule for available times! 🏀
For fitness fanatics, The Hawk boasts a modern fitness center fully equipped with a variety of equipment to suit all workout preferences. Strength machines, cardio equipment, and free weights are at your disposal at this state-of-the-art facility.
