In an effort to extend our presence in the Tri-State Area in April 2024, Plei officially debuted in our 24th region, New Jersey! ☀️
We began offering pickup games in the Garden State by first partnering with a pair of veteran facilities: All Nations Recreation Center and the New Jersey Stallions Academy. This time, we’ve joined forces with another local facility known as The Fields Sports Complex. 🤝
As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
The New York City Metro Area is teeming with high-quality footy pitches, and we’ve added yet another one to the ever growing list! Located in East Brunswick, New Jersey, The Fields Sports Complex is an incredible facility that offers a diverse set of amenities for adult and youth athletes.
Before we take you on a tour of all their unique amenities, we gotta mention the footy details first. After all, that’s what brought you here, right? 😏
At The Fields Sports Complex, we’ll be featuring electrifying 7v7 games for players of all levels. We can even play 6v6s here, too! Whether you’re a casual soccer player or you’re a superstar on the footy pitch, this field is the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful game! ⚽
In addition to offering exciting pickup footy matches with Plei, The Fields Sports Complex also has fun programming for the youth soccer players in your family. After all, the beautiful game is for everyone! At this facility, you’ll find MLS GO available for players between the ages of 4-8.
In case you’ve never heard of this program, MLS GO is a MLS’s recreational youth soccer program that aims to create an inclusive and elevated experience for all kids. Upon signing up for a season, every player receives a full MLS club uniform and a FREE ticket to a NY RedBulls game!
The cool programs don’t stop there, though! The Fields also offers SST (Soccer Specific Training) classes for footy stars in the making, ages 4-14. These classes aim to improve your child’s technical ability, as well as their love for the beautiful game. The Fields also hosts youth tournaments and youth leagues, as well! 🏆
Last but certainly not least, The Fields hosts two summer camp options for kids. For the youth players who only want to play footy, they have FSC Soccer Camp, which is an 11-week soccer program. Do you want something with more variety? There is a Multi-Sport Camp available for kids who want to play many sports during their time at The Fields.
With a facility of this size, it comes as no surprise that there are many rental options for you to enjoy. Baseball players can come here and work on their swing by renting batting cages for half-hour or hour-long sessions. Have a team that needs practice space? The Fields offers pitch rentals for the entire field, ½ field and ¼ field. Lastly, you are able to rent the facility for children’s birthday parties, with various packages available for special occasions! 🥳
Beyond the activities that you would normally find at sports complexes, The Fields also has various partners that set this facility apart from the ordinary. Rescrimeur Fencers Club operates out of the same building and offers fencing classes, camps, tournaments and workshops for both casual and serious fencers! Boasting a coaching staff with domestic and international experience, Rescrimeur are passionate about developing the crème de la crème in this sport. 🤺
Fencing isn’t the only unique offering in this sports complex. Kaye-Lynn Dance Studio is a non-recital studio that is dedicated to providing the highest quality dance education and training in all forms and disciplines of dance. They have classes and programs for everyone from preschoolers to the most advanced dancers with years of experience. Some of the classes they offer are Hip-Hop, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Ballroom, and more!
If you’re trying to vary the ways in which you stay fit, then look no further than Revel Jiu Jitsu, which is also available at The Fields Sports Complex! With BJJ programs available for both adults and kids, everyone in your family has the opportunity to learn a new discipline. Looking for something even more active? A sports facility that offers fencing, dancing and martial arts isn’t all that common! But if you thought that was all, The Fields has one last surprising component to their programming. Truly dedicated to the development of athletes, The Fields Sports Complex boasts classes and programs from Varsity Learning Academy. This academy, featuring both in-person and virtual courses, has year-round programs in STEM, Coding, Math Enrichment, Art, Business, Film, Sports, and more!
