Midway through 2022, Plei expanded into our 10th region, St. Louis, Missouri. 🍭
Up until early 2024, we were only partnered with one facility here, but that has finally changed now! Introducing a brand-new partnership: The Field Sports Complex. As part of our new blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
Located just a quick 20 minute drive from St. Louis in Pontoon Beach, Illinois, The Field Sports Complex is all about competitive, exhilarating footy. Designed to be spectator-friendly, the facility features plenty of bleacher seating, and is also decorated with flags from all around the world to create an authentic beautiful game atmosphere. ❤️🔥
Speaking of the beautiful game, the singular artificial turf field is perfectly sized for 7v7 games. Thanks to the boarding surrounding the entirety of the field space, you have the option to play off the wall futsal-style, which makes for fast-paced, nonstop action. ⚡
As a result, you can expect high-scoring games, and what better way to keep track than with a scoreboard? You’ll find one installed on the wall here right below the American flag. 🔢
League options include Men’s Open and Men’s 35+ divisions. During the season, you can check out the live standings and match results on the home page of their website. 🥇
After your pickup game, head over to the facility’s very own full-fledged concessions stand, which serves all kinds of food items and beverages that will leave you satisfied before you head home for the night. 😋

This area also doubles as an ambient social area where you can hang out and spend time with friends & family. Birthday parties and other social gatherings are common occurrences here. 🥳
