Just two days after we announced our expansion into California’s capital in April 2024, Plei doubled down by launching in another huge West Coast market: the San Francisco Bay Area! 🌉
We kicked off our presence in this diverse region by partnering with SFF Soccer - Mission Bay Field! We then doubled down by joining forces with The Park San Jose. As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

Introducing Street Soccer USA, the leading national sport-based youth and community development non profit in the country. Boasting over a decade of experience, the organization works to create a lasting impact in the lives of not only their participants but also their families.
Their primary way of making this happen is by providing small-sided soccer fields in major cities across the country, and their location in San Francisco is just one of them.
Two (2) 5v5 (50’x70’) fields are what you’ll find at this Street Soccer USA location, each one equipped with some of the best state-of-the-art synthetic turf on the market. Both pitches are closed off by boards, giving you the ability to freely play off the wall like it’s FIFA Street. 🧱
Combine that with the fact that you’ll be playing at the vibrant East Cut Crossing - where there's plenty more to do - as well as being surrounded by the high-rise buildings of the San Francisco Financial District, and you have quite the setting to enjoy the beautiful game.
Find a wide variety of food & drink options if you get hungry or thirsty before or after your 5v5 pickup game. You can stop by the Greyhound Bar for some alcoholic (21+!) & non-alcoholic drinks. Once the munchies kick in, head over to the Gourmet Grotto, an urban outdoor dining experience with various food vendors adjacent to the beer garden.

Not only does Street Soccer USA offer turf fields to local communities, but they also host their own youth leagues. Participants between elementary and high school age are all eligible. Adult competitions are available thanks to the I Play For SF League, the premier amateur adult rec soccer league in San Francisco.
The kicker here is that all programs are completely free of charge thanks to generous donations from their supportive community.
Besides league play, the organization opens up their Bay Area pitches for the purposes of field rentals, which can be booked here. 👈
