Midway through 2022, the Plei App expanded into our 10th region, St. Louis, Missouri. 🍭 The first facility that we partnered with was TOCA Soccer Center St. Louis, formerly known as Futbol Club STL. Now, we are excited to announce a new partnership, this time with STL Athletic Center! 🤝
As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
No wonder they became an instant favorite of the local footy community upon opening their doors back in November 2020. We’re talking about STL Athletic Center, located not too far from St. Louis in the city of Fenton. 📍
This relatively new facility is best known for their fully-customizable soccer field space, which can be used for 9v9 fixtures in its entirety. It can then be further split into two (2) fields for 6v6 that measure 180 ft by 105 ft or four (4) mini-fields that measure 90 ft x 105 ft. 📏
This sort of versatility is what STL Athletic Center is all about. Combine that with the ability to play other sports, professional-grade LED lighting and Shaw Sports Turf - the same brand used by professional sports teams across the country - and you have a formidable turf space that is sure to last for many years to come. 🔥
The fans aren’t left out of the equation, either. After all, they are the backbone of the beautiful game. STL Athletic Center provides a premium fan experience by including net-protected field-side seating as well as a full-fledged concessions area equipped with café seating. 🪑
After your pickup game, don’t hesitate to head over to concessions and grab yourself some snacks & refreshments to cool down. 🥤
The turf field at STL Athletic Center is used for a variety of programming. all organized and hosted by the facility itself. Among these programs include youth classes & clinics, adult & youth league play, annual tournaments and more. 🏆
We can’t forget to mention the ability to play pickup here thanks to the Plei App. 📲
If ever want to take a break from the beautiful game, the facility even hosts occasional cornhole tournaments. 😅
One of the best things about STL Athletic Center is its convenient location not too far from nearby highway exits. You can find them just northeast of the intersection of I-270 and I-44, not far from the Soccer Park. If you’re coming from the east, make sure to exit I-44 at 275 (N Hwy Dr) if you’re arriving from the west, use 274B (Mraz Ln). 🛣️
Through any weather, STL Athletic Center elevates their athletes’ play at a facility built to embolden that special something that pushes them to become faster, stronger and better than they were yesterday.
