Way back in July 2019, the Plei expanded outside Florida for the first time, partnering with multiple facilities in Houston, Texas. As of October 2024, we now boast a presence at over 40 different places to play the beautiful game in the region! 🚀
We are excited to announce a brand new partnership, this time with SportsPatio in Tomball! 🤝

Over in Tomball, TX, a facility known as SportsPatio has not only gotten the job done, but they have well and truly exceeded any sort of expectations that might have been in place prior to their October 2024 grand opening.
At SportsPatio, you have two sports options: pickleball & futsal. Simple as that. Depending on which one you pick, you’ll be playing on the exact same high-quality surface, designed to be the premier setting for local ballers to show off their tekkers and picklers to score a perfect dink shot.
SportsPatio’s interior is as modern as they come: two (2) separate hard courts are located on opposite sides of a mezzanine, ideal for spectators to watch along from an exciting elevated perspective.
Both courts are equally-sized, and from end to end, they make for some pretty addicting 5v5 futsal matches. For pickleball purposes, each surface has overlays for three (3) courts, which gives us a grand total of six (6) different courts for the sport.
There’s a sports bar at the mezzanine, by the way.
At launch, a number of amenities are already available, with a couple of other ones still pending. Scoreboards for all six pickleball courts is one of those that will be coming soon.
The facility wouldn’t be complete without some exciting programming. Fortunately, SportsPatio doesn’t lack. Pickleball & soccer players alike can enjoy some competitive leagues & tournaments year-round.
And for those that prefer a no-strings-attached experience, court rentals and open pick-up play are there for you as well.
In particular, we just have to highlight one of SportsPatio’s soccer leagues, known as the GOAT’s League. If you’re familiar with Gerard Piqué’s rule-bending Kings League, it’s actually a pretty similar concept. It’s a 7v7 soccer league that redefines the traditional experience with unique rules and a heavy focus on pure fun.
Before each match, captains get to randomly pick a Wild Card that they can unleash at any point in order to give their team an advantage. The options are as follows:
