Back in July 2021, Plei continued its expansion efforts, stepping foot for the first time in our 6th market, Maryland. 🦅
Since August 2023, we have been hosting pickup games at Sports World, and we are looking forward to continuing doing so for many years to come. As part of our new blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
Located in the Columbia - which is the second most populous region in Maryland after Baltimore - Sports World is an indoor haven for not only soccer enthusiasts but also volleyball, baseball and lacrosse aficionados. 🏐⚾🥍
Their facility is as modern as it gets, and the pictures don’t do it much justice. You’ll have to pull up in person to get the full experience. 💯
Featuring a total of three (4) soccer fields, you can look forward to two (2) synthetic turfs - one that measures 60 x 30 yards and is equipped for dynamic 9v9 games, and one slightly smaller one for 7v7 play. The other two are a pair of cutting-edge futsal courts for fast-paced 5v5 matches, but they can be combined for slightly larger games. 🙌

Versatility plays a huge role at Sports World. Not only can you use their fields to play sports like volleyball, baseball and lacrosse like we previously mentioned, but you can even rent out their spaces to host some American football, badminton, table tennis or even Nerf battles. 🔫
