Where it all began! Miami is where the Plei App calls home. Since partnering with our first facility, we have now expanded to over 20 facilities across Miami-Dade County 😎. On February 24, 2020, we announced our partnership with Soccer 5, a multi-location facility with facilities across South Florida! Initially, we began with their (at the time) three locations in Tropical Park, Kendall and Hialeah. Since then, they have opened up two new spots, one in Broward and another in Palm Beach County! We are looking forward to offering pickup games at Soccer 5 for many more years to come. As part of our new blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

Located just a 12-minute drive (about 5 miles) away from Florida International University’s main campus in Sweetwater, Soccer 5 Tropical Park is located in (you guessed it) Tropical Park!
The sports complex is neatly tucked into a middle point between Sweetwater and Coral Gables, conveniently offering the same distance for residents of both areas 🏟️.
Officially Soccer 5’s second ever location, they opened their doors to the local Central Miami soccer community starting in March of 2013 🎉. The Plei App has been hosting games at Tropical Park since January 2019!
At Soccer 5 Tropical Park, you’ll find four (4) different fields: one for 5v5, one for 6v6 and two larger fields for 7v7 🥅. A staple of every Soccer 5 facility, you’ll find that the fenced-in turf fields are decorated with world flags 🇺🇸🇨🇴🇫🇷🏴, which truly adds to the beautiful game experience. And if you get hungry or thirsty 🤤, snacks and drinks are available for purchase on-site 🍔🍺.
Fields are well-lit, making for an optimal nighttime playing experience, but it’s just as beautiful during the day as well! ☀️
Overall, Soccer 5 at Tropical Park offers the same unforgettable footy experience that you’d get at the other locations. It’s family-friendly and an ideal place to hang out and socialize 🤝, so be sure to bring guests to watch you go off on the field! ⚽️
