Launched in early 2019, the unofficial Spring Break capital of the world, Broward County, FL, made its way onto Plei as an extension of our home Miami-Dade region. 🏖️
As of March 2023, we are partnered with seven soccer facilities throughout Broward, one of those being Shooting Stars Indoor Soccer in Davie! Our first game there was played on February 7, 2019. As part of our new blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
Shooting Stars prides themselves in their deep desire to contribute to the growth of their community. They achieve this by working to build strong relationships and a sense of family via sacrifice, hard work and the implementation of integrity and honesty.
The facility is led by a group of inclusive and competitive people dedicated to creating joy and igniting meaningful relationships through the common passion of the beautiful game. This group is actually a family of four, consisting of a husband and wife, and two daughters. No wonder Shooting Stars is so family-oriented!
Shooting Stars, which opened back in 2017. has some of the best fields in all of Broward County, let alone South Florida as a whole. There are two (2) fields total, suitable for 4v4 and 5v5 play, each equipped with professional grade turf. The entire facility is air-conditioned, providing an ideal space to enjoy playing or practicing throughout the year without concern for the weather or time of day.
Before or after playing, you can enjoy snacks or drinks at a concession stand located on-site. There is also plenty of seating available, so you can sit and watch some of the ongoing games also!
As Shooting Stars is primarily a training and developmental facility, they feature various programs for kids and adults alike. Leagues/tournaments, rentals, camps, birthday parties and special events all happen here.
For parties and events, they have a large conference room perfect for any occasion. Plenty of space throughout the building means you can bring as many friends and family members and not have to worry about getting crowded if you decide to host an event or rent a field.
And with over 20 years of experience under their belt, you can bet the family at Shooting Stars will provide everyone who walks into their doors with valuable expertise, coachings, skill sets and services to make playing at their soccer venue the best experience that you won’t find anywhere else in Broward County.
Plei first hosted a pickup game at Shooting Stars Indoor Soccer on February 7, 2019, and we continue to play here today.
