Where it all began! Miami is where Plei calls home. Since partnering with our first facility, we have now expanded to over 20 facilities across Miami-Dade County. 😎
Since August 2024, we have been hosting pickup games at Next Level Performance Facility, and we are looking forward to continuing doing so for many years to come. As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
Introducing Next Level Performance Facility Corp, located right beside the Miami Executive Airport within the Three Lakes community. It’s a mouth full, we know. Just call it Next Level for short.
Opened in July 2024, Next Level is as modern as soccer facilities come. Combining state-of-the-art amenities with elite programming in an eye-popping indoor environment, this place is without a doubt the blueprint for the future of the sport.
We’re in Miami, of course, so the pink theme just had to be there. Their breathtaking flooring in their lounge area, which is a captivating blend of magenta and black epoxy, offers a slip & scratch resistant ceramic coating that’s sure to last for years.
We’ll talk more about the theme as well as give our two cents a bit later. For now, let’s get to what you probably are reading this blog for.
Behold the Next Level synthetic turf soccer field, sized exclusively for only the most electric 6v6 pickup matches. This is your personal arena to advance your game and show off all your skills.
Despite being surrounded by blacked-out walls & fences, the ceiling lights above provide perfect visibility to focus on one thing and one thing only: improving yourself to prove yourself.
Yes, that’s technically two things, but they go in hand and hand.
This pitch is primarily available for field rentals, but everything from leagues to camps also happen here.
Next Level isn’t just a place to cook your opponents in some 6v6 and head straight home, although some of you might be used to that sort of routine. Their lounge area, featuring a snack bar (located under that hexagonal ceiling light fixture), offers a relaxing way to enjoy that magenta-filled, spacey atmosphere that probably piqued your interest in the first place.
There’s also a huge TV that’s bound to be showing live matches or highlights to keep the footy fever going.
So, stay awhile, won’t you?
During construction of the facility, Next Level asked their community what color pitch they wanted to see. They provided three options: black, green or magenta. As you can probably tell, they eventually went with green, keeping footy matters classic.
We have to say that it was the right decision. Something about the hard contrast between the magenta & black theme found throughout the venue and the green turf just works. Having magenta turf on top of all the other magenta here would have been just a bit too much magenta. Going with green keeps that theme from being a little too overwhelming.
That’s just our opinion, after all.
Like we mentioned earlier, Next Level features some elite programming, which, more specifically, caters to the youth. Elsewhere in the facility is a full-fledged private gym where aspiring Kendall athletes can take advantage of top-tier equipment as well as personalized training designed to elevate teams to their peak performance levels.
From the gym, they head onto the field and put into practice everything they’ve learned. All programs are overseen by accredited soccer coaches to ensure players truly do reach the next level.
