In a crucial move to continue making our presence felt in the Midwest, Plei officially debuted in our 25th region, Kansas City! 🍖
We kicked off this region expansion in June 2024, partnering with an expansive indoor facility known as EPIC Center KC. 🤝
Now, we’re offering games at another venue: New Century Fieldhouse! As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

Located in New Century, Kansas, about 30 miles southwest of Kansas City, New Century Fieldhouse provides all Johnson County residents with top-of-the-line recreational spaces. The first thing that caught our eye about New Century Fieldhouse was their high-quality indoor turf pitch and high ceilings! 🌿
Named “McDonald’s Field” after the popular fast-food chain, this pitch is large enough to accommodate 9-a-side games. Boasting versatility, this field also includes lining for 7v7 and 5v5 matchups. They even have different size goals based on what you need!
While footy pickup is what we love most, life is all about options! Luckily for you, New Century Fieldhouse also offers year-round adult soccer leagues. Form a club with some old friends, or sign up as a free agent and NCF will find a team for you to join. For more information on how to register, check out their league page. 🏆
The adult footy players aren’t the only ones having fun at New Century Fieldhouse. If you’re a parent who’s looking to share your love of the beautiful game with your children, be sure to check out NCF’s indoor youth soccer leagues. They offer both Soccer Pee Wee League (Ages 3-6) and a 4v4 Rec League for players in grades 1 to 8.
There’s plenty more to discover at New Century Fieldhouse, though! With a 40,000 sq ft gymnasium, NCF has plenty of multi-purpose space for a number of sports. This gymnasium can be divided up into 8 volleyball courts, 4 full-sized basketball courts, 4 futsal courts, and 6 pickleball courts.
Each court is labeled and can be divided by a ceiling curtain, which makes NCF ideal for private sessions and tournaments. In addition to this, bleacher seating is available next to each court, with a few high tops sprinkled near the entrance and an observation deck for spectators. If you’re feeling thirsty, they have two vending machines in this space with plenty of drink options for you to enjoy. 😎
New Century Fieldhouse was built for all people of Johnson County. That being said, they offer programming for everyone, not just athletes. NCF has four (4) identical meeting rooms and one (1) large conference room.
Typically, they use these spaces for classes and activities. New Century Fieldhouse offers Bingo, Mahjong, Pitch, Hand and Foot, crocheting classes, and much more for seniors. 🧓
With high-quality, versatile space, leagues, camps, clinics and tournament space available, as well as a whole host of programs and classes, New Century Fieldhouse is a gem of a facility that is a must-visit spot in the greater Kansas City region! 🙌
