Launched in early 2019, the unofficial Spring Break capital of the world, Broward County, FL, made its way onto Plei as an extension of our home Miami-Dade region. 🏖️
Beyond our partnerships with private pickup facilities, we also work to have a presence at the fields found at local public parks! Mullins Park in Coral Springs is one of those. As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner fields in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

Thankfully, Mullins Park - originally known as Civic Park - takes full advantage of its size, offering a long list of amenities that cater to just about everybody. As you might be expecting, sports take the center stage here.
Most public parks nowadays typically opt for either natural grass or artificial turf surfaces, but rarely ever both. Mullins Park doesn’t fall in that category, though.
At this complex, you can find a grand total of eight (8) field spaces that can accommodate the beautiful game as well as other sports, three of which feature state-of-the-art synthetic grass. They’re all labeled and marked separately on Google Maps, so you’ll have no problem navigating to the correct one.
Let’s start with Aiello Field (pictured above), which is lined for both soccer & football. One of the three that are equipped with synthetic turf, this pitch - officially Field #8 - is full-sized for 11v11 pickup games.
The last thing we want to do is confuse you, so let’s go in order now, continuing with Field 1 & Field 2, the two other artificial surfaces that Mullins Park has to offer. Both of these pitches are identical to each other, not only featuring lining for the beautiful game but also for football (see photo below).
Immediately north of Field 2 is - you guessed it - Field 3, which features natural lawn this time and exclusively soccer lining. There’s an extremely slight size difference compared to the previous two fields. Nonetheless, expect to play 11v11 on all three of these fields.
Fields 4 through 7 - all equipped with natural grass - can be found on the south end of Mullins Park. These are the most versatile field spaces that you’ll find throughout the entire park, mainly because they each boast a bunch of small-sided fields in case 11-a-side isn’t quite on the cards.
More specifically, Field 4 & Field 5 each consist of two (2) separate fields that are big enough to host up to 8v8. Meanwhile, Field 6 & Field 7 are each split into three (3) separate fields, which are probably good for some 6v6. Feel free to check out Google Maps to get a better idea of this area of Mullins Park.
Don’t leave us just yet; we’ve got a bunch of other sporting amenities to cover, including four (4) baseball/softball fields. Each one of these has its own unique name, so we went ahead and listed each of them below.

Heafy Field, Mullins Park, Coral Springs, Fl
McElderry Field, Mullins Park, Coral Springs, Fl
Hoopers aren’t left out at Mullins Park; in fact, they arguably have it better than other sports. Immediately east of Field 3, you can find five (5) basketball courts here, and a bonus two (2) more courts, located north of McElderry Field.
The Mullins Park Playground will be immediately west of these two courts, as well as a pair of tennis courts directly east. Meanwhile, immediately northeast of Demming Field is a sand volleyball court.
Still with us? That’s all the sports fields & courts offered at Mullins Park. There is still a lot more to enjoy, but we’d be here all day if we continued diving into each and every last detail. That being said, check out the Park Highlights section below for a full review of all the available amenities.
