In January 2024, the Plei App officially expanded into our 17th region: Grand Rapids, Michigan. 🍻 We kicked things off in the Beer City by partnering with Grand Rapids Soccer Society. We later added a second local facility to the app, known as MSA Sports Spot. 🤝
Now, we’ve joined forces with yet another pickup venue: MSA Fieldhouse! As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

The definition of a sports paradise, MSA Fieldhouse is designed to accommodate as many local Grand Rapids athletes as possible. Featuring spaces for a multitude of sports, this superfacility sets the blueprint for versatility in the region. 📃
For those focused on the beautiful game - we’re right there with you - their outdoor canvas of astro-turf soccer fields is where you’ll spend the majority of your visit. If you didn’t already count them, there are a grand total of four (4) field spaces, with each one capable of being divided into smaller fields.
After some simple math, those original four field spaces actually become up to ten (10) different pitches that can be used all at once. Whether you want to play 5v5, 9v9 or 11v11, your preferred style of play can be accommodated. 👌
Incredible, right? That’s not all that can be done outdoors at MSA Fieldhouse, though. 👀
Other sports make themselves seen on these outside fields, namely lacrosse and American football. In total, three (3) lacrosse fields, two (2) regulation football fields, and one smaller youth football field can be found here. 🥍🏈
Just their outdoor spaces alone cover over 217,000 square feet of space, but we still have another near-50,000 square feet of sports galore to cover indoors.
The actual “fieldhouse” portion of MSA Fieldhouse is home to a gymnasium that features (5) hardwood basketball courts and five (5) hardwood volleyball courts, with another court available for non-tournament use. 🏐
All courts, whether for basketball or for volleyball, are fully adjustable according to specific requirements for youth, men’s or women’s competitions.
Fully air-conditioned and equipped with a viewing mezzanine as well as being home to D1 performance training and Good Life Physical Therapy, MSA Fieldhouse establishes itself as the king of athletic facilities in Grand Rapids. 🥇
