Just two days after we announced our expansion into California’s capital in April 2024, Plei doubled down by launching in another huge West Coast market: the San Francisco Bay Area! 🌉
We kicked off our presence in this diverse region by partnering with SFF Soccer to host games at the Mission Bay Field! We then doubled down by joining forces with The Park San Jose. As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

It probably wasn’t on your beautiful game bucket list, but that’s precisely what makes playing here such a unique experience. Introducing the Mission High School Field, the official stomping grounds of many of the school’s sports teams, namely football and soccer.
Turns out that the field, located immediately behind the school, is so top-tier that they couldn’t just keep it to themselves. Outside of school hours, the Mission High School Field can be rented out by the general public.
Based in San Francisco, NorCal Athletics is a community based, recreational not for profit soccer league founded back in 2004. They typically host their events at already pre-existing field spaces, and the sprawling outdoor field found at Mission High School is one of those on that list.
Thanks to NorCal, Plei is now able to have a presence of our own on this beautiful synthetic surface, specifically in the form of some addictive 11-a-side. Trust us when we say that playing here will have you reminiscing about your high school varsity days.
Or maybe you were never fortunate enough to get that opportunity, in which case you can enjoy a taste of it through some full-field pickup.
Parking is available in a lot located just east of the pitch. Be sure to enter via Dolores Street.
