Our second expansion of summer 2024 saw Plei land in yet another key Midwest zone, bringing our U.S. state count to 18. We officially debuted in both Madison and Milwaukee in late July, with the two Wisconsin cities combining to become the 26th region to arrive on the app! 🦌
The first facility we partnered with in the region is Milwaukee Yard Indoor Sports Complex! As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

Bigger doesn’t always have to mean better, but in this case, it certainly does. It’s no question that Milwaukee Yard Indoor Sports Complex is levels above every other local athletic venue. 📈
Speaking of levels, let’s talk about the presence of the beautiful game here, which can be found on both floors.
Starting with the lower level, Naperville Yard offers a spacious, customizable rubber-infill turf field area measuring 114 by 35 yards. This pitch’s size is perfect for 9v9 games, but to accommodate more games at once, it can be divided into either two (2) fields for 7v7 or 8v8 or four (4) fields for 6v6 or 5v5.

We’ve got other field spaces to cover, so let’s head upstairs now. 🆙
The upper level is where the true versatility comes into play. Here, you’ll find one (1) 31 by 43 yard in-fill turf field, sized for 7v7. This time, though, you’ll find two (2) separate fields for 7v7 games, each measuring 90 feet by 120 feet. Similar to the fields on the first floor, this pitch can be further split into two (2) smaller ones for 5v5 or 4v4. 👌
Topping it all off is the presence of a full gymnasium space. Two (2) hardwood courts located here are primarily for the purposes of basketball, but they also are lined for volleyball and pickleball.
We also wouldn’t rule out the possibility of futsal being playable here. 👀
If you care for measurements here as well, each court measures 85 feet by 50 feet.
After some quick math, you’ll see that there are a grand total of eight (8) courts/fields that can be used all at once, with 6 of them being turf grass fields exclusively for the beautiful game.
Milwaukee Yard Indoor Sports Complex is a full-service, state-of-the-art recreation center. As a result, the facility offers everything from childcare, youth camps, a playroom, birthday parties, special events, adult soccer, basketball & fitness programs and much more. 🗓️
Accessibility is another bonus at Milwaukee Yard: the facility is located right off of I-41/94 at the Drexel Avenue exit.
