Where it all began! Miami is where Plei calls home. Since partnering with our first facility, we have now expanded to over 20 facilities across Miami-Dade County. 😎
Since September 2023, we have been hosting pickup games at Miami Sports Box, and we are looking forward to continuing doing so for many years to come. As part of our new blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
Established in 2021, Miami Sports Box provides the local community with 20,000 square feet of luxury, air-conditioned space for the purposes of soccer, volleyball, basketball and just having a great time with friends and family. 👨👩👧👦
You’ll know you're at the right place when you come across a blacked-out building with an eye-popping yellow and white logo on it. If you’re coming by car, be sure to park on either side of the lot out front. 🚗
For the footy lovers, there’s a single artificial turf field in the back left of the facility, suitable for fast-paced 5v5 games. The best part is that it’s fully equipped with a scoreboard and modern bench seats for your convenience. 💯
Immediately to the right of the turf field is the large open court gym space. This is the first thing you’ll see when you walk into Miami Sports Box because it stretches across the length of the facility. As we previously mentioned, these courts are used for basketball and volleyball, but they also serve for futsal games as well! 👌
That’s right, not only can you play footy on turf grass here, you can also catch some futsal action if you ever feel like switching it up a bit. This entire gym space can be reconfigured as needed to accommodate any of the three sports. It’s called Sports Box for a reason! 😅
Miami Sports Box prides themselves in their ability to provide a well-rounded experience to the community they serve, and they prove this point by providing a high-quality social atmosphere as well. The facility boasts a spacious lounge area equipped with tables, chairs, benches and couch seats. 🪑
On top of that, there are numerous 60’ flat screen TVs installed so that you don’t miss any important live matches that may be happening during your visit. A concessions area is also available in this space, so you can grab yourself a snack or beverage here at any time. Alcohol options are served here. 🍺
They also sell exclusive Miami Sports Box merch if you want to rep. 👕
With so much to offer on both the athletic and social sides of things, it would be a shame if the facility didn’t offer programming and events to put their amenities to use. 😓
Luckily, Sports Box made sure that they came through in that aspect. 😉
This state-of-the-art venue is the home of various tournaments, youth academies, summer camps, competitive youth play and adult leagues. These programs are available for all three sports played at Miami Sports Box, so absolutely no one is left out! ⚽🏐🏀
As you can imagine, the facility makes a great place for birthday parties and other special events. Besides having an attractive lounge space, there’s also a multi-use room that can be rented out for more private celebrations. 🎉
