In summer 2022, Plei expanded into its 10th region, this time landing in the City of Angels: Los Angeles, California. 🎥
Beyond our partnerships with private pickup facilities, we also work to have a presence at the fields found at local public parks! Huntington Beach Sports Complex is one of those. As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner fields in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

Not to mention that it had no choice but to split itself into two sectors separated by Goldenwest Street: Huntington Beach Central Park West and Huntington Beach Central Park East. After all, it is the largest city-owned park in all of Orange County, covering over 343 acres of land.
Located within Huntington Beach Central Park East is the Huntington Beach Sports Complex, a 45-acre site that is something of a shared paradise for local soccer players & baseball/softball players alike.
When we say shared, we don’t just mean that there are fields for both sports available here. That’s a given. What we’re really referring to is the fact that the eight (8) baseball/softball fields that can be found throughout the complex are overlaid with seven (7) soccer fields.
That’s what we mean by shared. 🤝
Completing the baseball/softball amenities is a batting cage area.
Beyond these overlays, the beautiful game holds plenty of exclusive presence elsewhere in the complex as well. Three (3) open artificial turf fields of varying sizes are available at Hunting Beach Sports Complex, with each one versatile enough to accommodate multiple smaller games at once thanks to extra pitch lining.
Capping it all off is a stunning arena turf field, a space suitable for 7v7 matches where - unlike the other field options at this complex - the ball won’t go out. That being said, be prepared for much faster-paced matches here where decent stamina is a must.
The appeal of playing at Huntington Beach Sports Complex is pretty obvious, especially if you’re not a local who is used to all that the coastal city has to offer. These sporting amenities are just a couple miles away from the ocean, so that relaxing beach breeze is guaranteed.
There’s so much to see and do throughout the entirety of Huntington Beach Central Park, so you’ll have no problem killing time after you’ve enjoyed your pickup game at these soccer fields. Though, we won’t stop you from heading over to those golden sands and unwinding beachside instead.
