Way back in July 2019, the Plei expanded outside Florida for the first time, partnering with multiple facilities in Houston, Texas. As of October 2024, we now boast a presence at over 40 different places to play the beautiful game in the region! 🚀

Who doesn’t love new (footy) beginnings? We’re back in the greater H-Town area featuring a new indoor soccer spot that’s bound to expand your love for the beautiful game.
Situated in League City, Texas, Horizon Indoor Sports features one (1) indoor, arena-style turf field that’s big enough to feature 8v8 matches with end-to-end action! In case you haven’t played arena-style footy before, it means you can play the ball off the sides and enjoy the game you love with little to no stoppages.
Beyond playing pickup footy at this facility, players have the opportunity to be crowned indoor soccer champions too. After all, Horizon Indoor Sports is located in League City, so they must have league play available! 😏
Leagues are available for both adult and youth players.
Whether you’re a casual or competitive baller, Horizon Indoor Sports has a league especially for you! Their Adult Social Leagues are for players looking to enjoy the beautiful game, while making new friends. The following are leagues you can find here: Men Over 50, Men Over 40, Men Over 30, and Open Play.
For the serious ballers looking to feel the thrill of competitive league action, Horizon Indoor Sports has three great options: Men, Women and Coed leagues. The best part about all of Horizon’s leagues is that you can join as a team, a group, or as an individual! 🏅
Youth programs are plentiful at Horizon Indoor Sports, with leagues offered for kids of all skill levels. For those new to the beautiful game, the Instructional League and the Academy League teaches kids the fundamentals of the game, while giving them the excitement of competition. 🏅
Horizon also has leagues for U10, U12, U14 and U16 age groups. Don’t forget to ask about their mini indoor turf field, made for soccer players from 18 months to 7 years of age.
Be sure to inquire about Horizon Indoor Sports’ footy tournaments, as well. Winners receive cool championship shirts and bragging rights, of course! 🏆
In addition to soccer, Horizon has one (1) fully functioning volleyball court for your use. In fact, Horizon Indoor Sports is home to Sporting Edge Volleyball, a club volleyball team that both plays in volleyball competitions and facilitates clinics for aspiring players.
One may expect to find footy and volleyball at an indoor facility, but how about a rock climbing wall? Horizon Indoor Sports shares a location with Space City Rock Climbing, a 5,000 square foot climate-controlled facility that features rock walls, climbing routes and an arched climbing roof. They even have impact-resistant floors, mats for safe climbing, and climbing gear available for rent! 🧗
Few things in the world work up an appetite more than footy, volleyball and rock climbing? Luckily for you, Horizon Indoor Sports has a concession stand fully stocked up with snacks and treats to satisfy your hunger. They also have vending machines and refrigerated water fountains that will surely quench your thirst. 😋
With plenty of fun amenities and spectator seating, Horizon Indoor Sports is an ideal place to book for team practices, special events and birthday parties. And speaking of festivities, they have a 7,000 sq ft inflatable bouncy house available for rent. What better way to take your child’s special day to the next level?
