Launched in early 2019, the unofficial Spring Break capital of the world, Broward County, FL, made its way into the Plei App as an extension of our home Miami-Dade region. 🏖️ As of June 2024, we are partnered with 13 soccer facilities throughout Broward, one of those being Granada Indoor Soccer! 📍
As part of our new blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
The latest facility to hit the block is Granada Indoor Soccer, which opened their doors in May 2024. Much to the delight of local ballers all across Broward County, this fully indoor venue boasts some of the best synthetic turf in the market that sets the scene for exciting pickup play. 🔥
So let’s dive straight in, shall we? ⏬
Granada Indoor Soccer offers not one, but two (2) turf fields for varying game sizes. Starting with the smaller of the two, this field is known as the Fast Play Field due to its heavily reduced dimensions that make it suitable for 3v3 and 4v4. 👌
A key feature here worth noting is the lack of a touchline on either long side of the field. As a result, expect to be able to play give-and-go’s off the blue wall. 🟦
Moving onto Granada’s larger and primary field, this one is just about double the size of the previous one, making it optimal for games of 5v5, 6v6 or even 7v7. Unlike the Fast Play Field, this pitch does have touchlines, so keep that in mind. 🧠
At launch, Granada Indoor Soccer already has plenty to offer in terms of programming and events. Expect to see plenty of pickup action (via the Plei App, of course 😉), youth & adult tournaments, field rentals and private training sessions. 📆
The facility also makes a great location to watch live matches thanks to the installation of two flat-screen TVs and plenty of tables & chairs. 📺
Oh, and why not celebrate your birthday, GOAT-style? After all, Leo Messi plays his football in Broward, not Miami-Dade, so it only makes sense to do it at Granada. 😅
