Located in the city of Golden - which is about a 30-minute drive west of Denver - is Golden Goal Sports Complex. 🙌
Before we even get to the rest of the blog, we have to commend their creativity with the name choice. 👏
Although their name implies that they are a soccer facility, they are actually much more versatile than you might think, hence their decision to call themselves a ‘sports complex’. 😅
That being said, GGSC offers facilities for a number of different sports, including soccer, frisbee, lacrosse and baseball. Their main sport is, of course, the beautiful game, so we’ll go ahead and dive into those details. ⚽👇
Indoors, the complex features two (2) high-quality fields that can accommodate multiple game sizes. One of these fields is perfect for 6v6 and 7v7, while the other one is slightly smaller and can be used for 5v5 or 6v6. 🌿
Both fields are fully furnished with seating areas/bleachers, scoreboards, country flag for decoration and plenty of state-of-the-art lighting, ensuring that your pickup experience here is nothing less than golden. 💫
If you head outside, you’ll find a full-size grass field for 9v9 and 10v10 games. Unfortunately, at this time we are not currently offering Plei games at Golden Goal’s outdoor pitch. However, it is fully rentable! Just head to their website or contact the facility directly for more information. 🔗

Plei first hosted a pickup game at Golden Goal Sports Complex on November 2, 2023, and we continue to play here today.
We have officially partnered with Golden Goal Sports Complex! As this is a brand new facility, pickup games via Plei are not yet available. Stay tuned if you want to catch a game at these brand new Denver fields, their grand opening is just a week away! ⚽⛰️
