Where it all began! Miami is where Plei calls home. Since partnering with our first facility, we have now expanded to over 20 facilities across Miami-Dade County. 😎
Beyond our partnerships with private pickup facilities, we also work to have a presence at the fields found at local public parks! Flagler Grove Park in Pinecrest is one of those. As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner fields in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

Located in a charming grove setting (hence the name) featuring a mix of different species of trees, with palm trees naturally being one of them, Flagler Grove Park is easily one of the most attractive to catch some pickup soccer in all of South Florida. 🌴
These aforementioned three acres of turf are home to not one, but two (2) lighted athletic fields. As a result, ballers of all skill levels have the choice between playing either 9v9 on the bigger field or 7v7 on the slightly smaller one. ⚽
Cherry on top here is that both fields can combine to create a full-sized 11v11 pitch. In total, Flagler Grove Park offers a total of four (4) pre-lined athletic field options, with the fourth one being a full-sized lacrosse field. 🥍

Beyond turf sports, this Pinecrest public park also offers a couple of other notable amenities. You’ll find a shaded playground just south of the 7v7 field. Also located in this area of the park is an office building, which, conveniently enough, has a vending machine right next to the entrance. 😋
You can also find water fountains and restrooms on the outside of this building. 🚻
We implied it already, but Flagler Grove Park is more than just a destination for athletics. Being surrounded by stunning groves, it also makes for a great place to be in the presence of Mother Nature, whether it’s by taking a stroll or having a picnic. 🌳
The park is home to plenty of year-round programming, including but not limited to independent soccer & lacrosse leagues and occasional promotional events. 📆
