As our 19th market and third new region of the year, the Plei App officially expanded to the Valley of the Sun - Phoenix, AZ - in February 2024.🏜️ In early May 2024, we partnered with a local public park known as Eagles Park in order to begin hosting pickup games at the soccer fields found there. 🤝
As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
We’re talking about Eagles Park, a multi-purpose complex with a formidable list of amenities that easily makes it one of the best community-oriented parks in the area. 👨👩👧👦
Sitting on a total of 28.29 acres of land, Eagles Park is without a doubt a hidden gem for those looking to experience the beautiful game in its finest form. Featuring a total of four (4) full-size fields for 11v11, ballers from all across Maricopa County will be itching to step foot on these natural grass fields. 🌿
Luckily, it’s easier than ever now to catch some pickup soccer action here thanks to the Plei App. Download the app now and sign up for an 11v11 fixture at the Eagles Park Soccer Fields today. 📲
Although lined for soccer use, these lighted fields are actually multi-purpose. Don’t be surprised to see sports like lacrosse, American football and more being played. 🥍🏈
These fields take up much of the square feet that Eagles Park boasts, but not quite all of it. There’s plenty more to check out throughout the complex. ⏬
Elsewhere in the park, you’ll find other athletic amenities, including exercise stations, a playground, and a youth ninja course. 🥷
If you’re looking to kill some time, feel free to take a stroll down the “Born Learning” preschool activity trail, brought to you by the Foundation for Mesa Parks and Recreation and the Mesa United Way. 🚶
Like most outdoor public parks, Eagles Park is no different in the fact that it makes for a great destination for picnics and other family activities. Picnic tables are scattered throughout the premises as well as barbecue grills. 🧑🍳
Also available is a first come, first serve shaded picnic ramada for those larger occasions. 👍
