In mid-2021, Plei expanded into our 5th region, DFW, Texas. 🤠
We are proud to announce that we have partnered with Futbol Evolution, local pickup match organizer in DFW, to host games at the outdoor field found at Crossbar Soccer + Beer’s Denton location! As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

One of the best ideas for a soccer facility to ever come out of the region is none other than Crossbar Soccer + Beer. They’ve now gone ahead and opened a second location and added outdoor footy into the equation, which has us very hyped.
A sprawling 11v11 synthetic turf field is precisely what’s available at this Denton venue, but versatility is a priority as well. As you can probably tell by the photos, the pitch can be split into thirds thanks to the extra nets available. Each of these smaller fields can accommodate some 7v7 in case you prefer some smaller-sided action.
Thanks to Futbol Evolution, a local pickup match organizer serving DFW, Plei is able to host games at this field space. The good news? You can find these sessions on the app today.
On that note, it’s time to head inside. If you’re not quite tired yet after some outdoor pickup, the interior of Crossbar Denton is home to yet another turf field, this one suitable for some 5-a-side. There’s even workout equipment off to the side in case you want to maximize your sweat.
In the scenario that you’re all done for the night, you’ll want to stick around… especially if you’re 21 or older.
The real party starts after you’re done balling out thanks to the rotating menu of only the best ales, ciders and IPAs that the state of Texas has to offer. Secure your glass at the bar & concessions area located inside Crossbar Denton, which also sells some snacks to pair with your pint.
By the way, there’s an outdoor one as well in case you want your beer with a side of fresh air.
Crossbar Denton is open 7 days a week from 8 am to midnight for everything from rentals, training & pickup to leagues, tournaments and much, much more. There’s truly plenty to be excited about here. After all, who wouldn’t want to spend some time in the ultimate hybrid environment for soccer & beer lovers?
