Just two days after we announced our expansion into California’s capital in April 2024, we doubled down by launching in another huge West Coast market: the San Francisco Bay Area! 🌉
Beyond our partnerships with private pickup facilities, we also work to have a presence at the fields found at local public parks! Crocker Amazon Playground is one of those. As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner fields in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

Located inside of Crocker Amazon Playground, the Crocker Amazon Soccer Fields are a staple destination for Bay Area ballers no matter the skill level. ⚽
Here you’ll be generously welcomed by a set of five (5) pitches, each full-sized for 11v11 matches. A solid sense of versatility comes in the fact that each field can be divided in half up to two times. That means that, at any given time, a single 11v11 pitch can actually accommodate up to four smaller sessions at once.
Do some simple math and you’ll notice that Crocker Amazon Soccer Fields has the potential to host up to 20 pickup matches, all at the exact same time.
Incredible, right? 😉
Much of the appeal about playing here can be attributed to the state-of-the-art synthetic turf, multi-size goals, generous bleacher seating, professional lighting systems and - of course - the versatility we just mentioned, but it actually goes even further than that.
Sometimes, all it takes is just an enjoyable atmosphere, and the Crocker Amazon Soccer Fields provide just that thanks to their unique location right besides the pastel-colored hillside row houses that many residential regions of San Francisco are so well-known for. 🎨
That being said, if you prioritize aesthetic vistas while balling out just as much as - or perhaps more than - everything else that makes an outstanding soccer field, well, outstanding, then look no further.
The beautiful game is at the heart (literally) of the Crocker Amazon Playground, but there’s even more to enjoy in the surrounding areas.
Sports like baseball, softball and basketball are all very much prominent at this complex, and a skatepark - located just east of Pitch 2 - adds some extra diversity to the athletic capabilities of the park. 🛹
If at some point you do get bored, we highly recommend checking out John McLaren Park immediately northeast, which boasts another 312 acres of unique amenities & greenery.
