As our 19th market and third new region of the year, the Plei App officially expanded to Phoenix, Arizona in February 2024. 🏜️ The next facility that we have partnered with in the Valley of the Sun is Casey's SportsWorld.
As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
Although fundamentally a batting cage facility, Casey’s SportsWorld wouldn’t be as tempting of a destination if it weren’t for their decision to cater to more than just the baseball/softball audience. ⚾
After all, their name has ‘SportsWorld’ for a reason. 🤷
Home of the famous ‘Casey at the Bat’ Batting Cages as well as the successful Mudville Baseball & Softball Training Facility, this outdoor venue recently underwent some key renovations in order to improve their services. 😎
Those renovations - completed as of July 2023 - once again brought in none other than the Beautiful Game into the premises, thanks to a brand-new, state-of-the-art artificial turf arena field equipped for 6v6 and 7v7 matchups. 💯
This new and improved turf space without a doubt creates the perfect canvas for all Phoenix ballers to express their artistic abilities on the ball. The field is weather-resistant, so you’ll be able to catch pickup games, rain or shine. 🌧️☀️
The highlight of the pitch has to be the custom goals, though. 🥅

The brains behind this renovation process at Casey’s SportsWorld didn’t stop at just advancing their soccer services at their facility, though. The same arena field also doubles as an arena for lacrosse, laser tag, kickball, flag football and even dodgeball. 😲
You name the sport, and it can probably be played at Casey’s. 🙌
This might come as a shocker, but the excitement still doesn’t stop there. Fancy some mini-golf? ⛳
That’s right: Casey’s SportsWorld also boasts a full-fledged miniature golf course, known as the Marshwiggle Mini Golf Course. Imagine going for a couple mini-golf rounds after putting in a sweaty shift during a pickup soccer game. Luckily, you don’t have to imagine anymore. 😅
When all your adrenaline is finally diminished, you have one last stop to make before you head home: the concessions area. Whether you’re feeling some beer or wine (21+ only!) or you’re craving a pizza (you can build it yourself!) Casey’s makes sure that you’ll leave fully satisfied. 🍕🍺🍷
Happy hour is available at Casey’s SportsWorld Sunday through Thursday from 3pm to 6pm. ⌚
