In summer 2022, the Plei App expanded into its 10th region, this time landing in the City of Angels: Los Angeles, California. 🎥 Another one of the pickup facilities that we have partnered with in the region is Campus El Segundo Athletic Fields! As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

Introducing the Campus El Segundo Athletic Fields, which are premier synthetic turf pitches located in the South Bay. Famously, this facility was premiered by Beckham & Zidane back when the former was still kicking it at the LA Galaxy. 🌌
If this fact isn’t enough to convince you to catch some pickup footy here, we don’t know what else to tell you. 🤷

Two (2) full-sized (100yd x 65yd) multi-purpose fields can be found at this complex. Primarily for the beautiful game, you’ll be able to indulge in some classic 11v11 footy. 🔥
Not only will you be able to enjoy an authentic soccer experience brought to you by two of the sport’s biggest icons, but you’re doing it in the beautiful city of El Segundo. Although much of the city’s land is dedicated to industrial and commercial uses, the immediate area surrounding the fields at Campus El Segundo is home to a number of prominent buildings. 🏢
Immediately east of the fields is the UCLA Health Training Center, the official practice facility of the Los Angeles Lakers. 🏀
Less than two blocks south is the Toyota Sports Performance Center, where NHL team LA Kings holds their practices. 🏒
Meanwhile, not too far southwest from Campus El Segundo is the official headquarters of famous toy manufacturer Mattel. 🪀
You can even find the Los Angeles Air Force Base here, which is just a few blocks southeast of the fields. ✈️
