Way back in July 2019, the Plei App expanded outside Florida for the first time, partnering with multiple facilities in Houston, Texas. 🚀 We are excited to announce a brand new partnership, this time with the Barcelona Soccer Club Center Of Excellence! 🤝
As part of an ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
Nestled in between Tomball and Cypress, TX is the Barcelona Soccer Club Center of Excellence, which specializes in providing a premier academy for young, aspiring athletes.
That may be their forte, but their state-of-the-art fields sure do set the scene for some good ol’ pickup footy. Let’s get down to business. ⏬
Barcelona Soccer Excellence provides an absolutely remarkable outdoor canvas for the beautiful game. This comes in the form of three (3) full-sized natural grass pitches for 11v11 play, where academy players spend the majority of their time during their development.
We won’t be hosting any pickup games on these fields, though. 😅
The Plei App’s stomping grounds here can be found just south of that bright blue-painted barn headquarters: a wooden-boarded synthetic turf field that sets the stage for 7v7 games.
Lighting fixtures are installed around the pitch to keep the action going even when the sun goes down. 💡
After your pickup match, feel free to hang out at the barn or outside at their picnic table area, which is equipped with umbrellas and string lights to help out with the aesthetic. 😉
