In November 2022, Plei officially expanded into our 13th market, Atlanta, Georgia! 🍑 Another one of the pickup facilities that we have partnered with in the region is Atlanta Eagles Arena; we’ve been hosting games here since May 2024! As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
We’re not exaggerating, either. Welcome to Atlanta Eagles Arena, a 40,000 sq. ft. multi-purpose indoor facility located in Doraville, a city northeast of Atlanta. With over 12 years of experience to their name, this facility is the definition of certified. 👌
Their main business is indoor soccer leagues for adults & kids, providing the community with one of the best indoor turf fields in the entire city. Fully boarded and equipped with state-of-the-art synthetic turf and a scoreboard, the pitch at Atlanta Eagles Arena is sized perfectly for fast-paced 7v7 where the ball doesn’t go out of bounds. ⚡
Now, this same field will be available on Plei for local ATL ballers to enjoy with just a few clicks. 📲
As you can probably tell in the photos, Atlanta Eagles Arena gets quite packed on certain days, mainly during those electrifying league nights. Luckily, the facility can quite easily handle such large amounts of spectators thanks to multiple sets of bleachers surrounding the pitch. 👍
We can’t guarantee this sort of crowd for your pickup game, but we also won’t deny the possibility. 👀
On days when the beautiful game is put on the back burner, Atlanta Eagles Arena gets converted into a full-fledged entertainment center. This, of course, depends on the specific event, but in the past, the facility has accommodated everything from boxing, wrestling & kickboxing events to conventions and even concerts. 🎤
The cherry on top is without a doubt the inclusion of a full restaurant & bar, serving delicious Mexican cuisine. Meanwhile, the bar - known as the Eagles Bar - offers all your favorite drinks, ranging from savory cocktails to beer & wine. 🍻🍹🍷
It’s easy to get to Atlanta Eagles Arena, too: the facility is just a few blocks away form I-285 and just minutes away from other nearby Greater Atlanta cities. 📍
