In February 2023, Plei officially expanded into our 14th region: Detroit, Michigan. 🚗
The first facility that we partnered with was Livonia Athletic District, located west of Downtown Detroit. Now, we are excited to announce a new partnership, this time with 5 Star Sports & Training Center!

Luckily, this one precisely lives up to those accolades. 😎
Welcome to 5 Star Sports & Training Center, a 21,000 sq. ft. indoor complex in Troy, Michigan featuring spaces for multiple activities. Among the sports accommodated at this facility are baseball, softball, basketball, lacrosse, football and more. 🙌
But the most important one (yes, we’re biased) is none other than the beautiful game. ❤️🔥⚽
5 Star Sports offers a total of three (3) turf field spaces, one of these dedicated to pickup soccer. It’s perfectly sized for 6v6 fixtures, which you can find throughout the week on Plei. 📲
Aside from footy, baseball/softball is very prominent here, and multiple batting cage spaces make for plenty of opportunity for aspiring players to practice and improve their skills. ⚾🥎
All of their cages and fields are available for rental purposes. Whether you’re looking to kick around with your friends, take in some lessons or work on your abilities with personal training, it’s your choice at this facility. 🗓️
Our personal favorite program at this facility is Football Pin Crushing. Yes, you’re reading that correctly. It’s bowling but with a soccer ball. If you’ve never tried this game out before, we highly recommend you check it out, exclusively at 5 Star Sports. We promise that you’ll have the time of your life. 🎳
