The Plei App wasn’t letting up in early 2024. In late February, we expanded to yet another new market to bring our state count up to 14: Boston, Massachusetts! 🦞 Beantown became our fourth new region of the year in just under two months time. The next facility we partnered with in the city is Teamworks Northborough As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

After adding Teamworks facilities in Canton, Revere and Acton to the Plei family, we’re back with a fourth location for you to enjoy! Teamworks Northborough, in Northborough, MA, is our latest addition in the Bay State. In case you haven’t seen our other Teamworks blogs, we’ll share with you what makes this place so special. 🤩
This 70,000 square indoor and outdoor sport and recreation center is a go-to space for everyone from young athletes to the seasoned super-star. With such a large facility, there is surely something for everyone here at Teamworks Northborough! 👪
Before we dive into all the incredible amenities you can find here at Teamworks Northborough, we have to talk about the most important part first – the footy details, of course! 😍
At Teamworks Northborough, we will be featuring exciting 8v8 games for footy lovers of all skill levels! The field we will host games on is boarded too, which means the ball stays in play and you can use it to your advantage as you face your opponent. ⚽
Teamworks Northborough is dedicated to many sports, but they showcase special attention to the beautiful game. You can see this from the amount of fields they have to play on! They have three (3) large, boarded indoor turf fields. This is perfect for non-stop fun without having to chase the ball out-of-bounds. 🍃🥅
In addition to these three impeccable fields, they also have one (1) multi-sport court that’s perfect for futsal games. If you like to play other sports too, this court can also be used for basketball and volleyball too! 🏀🏐
Along with playing pickup footy with us at Teamwork Northborough, they also offer league and tournament play a number of sports. For the footy-lovers, Teamworks has leagues for adult men’s, women’s and coed indoor soccer. Love a faster-paced game? They also have a futsal league that is played on the multi-sport court and will make you feel like you’re balling out in Brazil! 🏆⚽
League play for adults is also offered for basketball, field hockey, flag football, and volleyball. For more information on how to join these leagues and lift a trophy with your team, check out the info on their leagues and tournaments. 🏅
They can’t just let the adults and parents have all the fun, can they? Of course not! Teamworks Northborough also offers leagues for children’s soccer, field hockey, flag football, and volleyball. 🥇🥈🥉
Besides league and tournament play, Teamworks Northborough has programs for kids from the ages of 2 to 17. Their Cub Programs (ages 2-6) introduces toddlers and young athletes to sports. Their Tiger Programs (ages 6-13) are great ways for beginner and intermediate players to learn the game and improve their skills. Their Specialty Programs (5-17) provides advanced training programs for young athletes and rising stars. 🌟
If you’re not familiar with Teamworks as a whole, you should know that all their locations are centered around creating a fun and safe atmosphere for families and kids! The amenities they have for families are truly unmatched. ⭐
Teamworks Northborough has one (1) outdoor pool that’s open from mid-June through mid-August. The pool is heated at a comfortable 80 degrees and perfect for younger and older swimmers with depth of 3 feet to 5 feet. Important note: A certified Teamworks lifeguard is required for all pool rentals. 🏊
Beyond the pool, Teamworks Northborough also offers an outdoor climbing tower and rope course for the little adventurers in your family! 🧒🧗
Many of these cool amenities for children can be accessed by rental and by some of the cool programs that they offer. Looking for a summer camp for the little ones? Teamworks Northborough offers weekly camps for a more well-rounded experience, Learn To Play camps for the kids who want to play sports, and specialty camps for those looking to focus on one particular sport! 🧒👧⚽🏀⚾
If you’re looking to give your kids something to do on their days off from school, there are camps available beyond the summer too! Teamworks Northborough offers School Vacation Programs, a camp designed to give your children a fun and safe place to continue being active on their days off from school. With all of these camps, programs and fun activities for kids and adults, it’s only natural that Teamworks Northborough offers facility rentals. Teamworks has a variety of venues available for rent on a first come, first serve basis. Plan an unforgettable birthday or private event here. 🥳🎂
What spaces are available for rent? Three indoor turf fields, multi-sport court, outdoor pool, outdoor climbing tower/ropes course, Replays Bar & Grill, as well as their party room and meeting space. 🛝
Wait…they have a bar & grill at Teamworks Northborough? Yes, they do! Replays Bar & Grill is a perfect place to unwind after games and socialize with fellow teammates and opponents. Their restaurant offers a variety of great beers, wine and food. In addition, they have a number of TVs and floor-to-ceiling windows to watch the action on the fields below. 🍻🍔
