We have something very important to mention in this monthโs blog. A few months ago we started filtering our leaderboards by every city that the Plei App is in, and we began awarding the top 15 players of each of these regions 1 free game and 1 free shirt, regardless of whether they made the overall Top 15 or not.ย
We have many regions that simply arenโt as large as our other communities, namely South Florida and Texas, therefore there arenโt as many pickup games available. Because of this, we want to begin shouting out those players in smaller regions that play as much as they are able to, yet donโt get the recognition they deserve.
That being said, here are the players that played the most in the following regions:
๐Atlanta: Kevin S (9 Games)
๐Charlotte: Edlin P (5 Games)
โ๐ Chicago: Juan M(17 games)
๐Detroit: Gani S (12 games)ย
๐NYC: Kamil B (11 Games)
๐ขOrlando: Cody P (17 games)
๐ญSt. Louis: Paul S (12 Games)
๐ด West Palm Beach: Juan J(15 games)
All other regions made it to the Top 15 Overall in June (Image below). Congrats to these players and the many others that put in work every month in our smaller regions! We see you! ๐ฅณ

๐ฎ Double record broken like nothing ๐ฎ
Itโs been months in a row of broken records, so we canโt be surprised anymore. All we can really do is celebrate the triumphs of our wonderful community. So we promise weโll be cool, calm and collected in this blog. ๐
Ty S has officially taken up a very important status, one that was only held by one man up until this point. Playing an incredible 40 games to take top spot in June, Ty becomes the first Plei App player to top our POM leaderboards not only on more than one occasion, but in back to back months! ๐คฏย
If you have kept up with these blogs since we started writing them, you may know that the only player to ever do that was Michael G, who went back to back in June and July of last year, and then secured a 3rd crown a few months later in October. So he can rest knowing that he is still the only Plei user with 3 POM trophies to his name. Ty is only one away, though. ๐ ย
A new debutant takes 2nd place! Jorge E from Mexico grabs silver with 23 games played. We congratulate him not only because of his placement, but also the fact that he is from Denver. He is the first player from that region to appear in our Top 15! ๐๐๏ธ March champ Adrian O returns to the Top 15 after missing out in May. With 22 games played, the Venezuelan takes a bronze medal. ๐ฅ
Heโs not the only one colored bronze, though. We have a tie for 3rd place! Debutant Giovanni M from Guatemala plays 22 games as well to sit himself right next to Adrian! Congrats goes out to the Dallas baller, as he will receive 3rd place prizes. ๐ย
Another former champ makes it into the Top 15! This time, itโs Moe M, whoโs 20 games places him at 5th. Recall that he won back in February, and has since only missed out on the April leaderboard since winning. Keep up the consistency, Moe! ๐ย
Another debutant up next! Jaime W, who hails from Peru and plays in South Florida, racks up 20 games and finds himself in 6th place. We hope to see more of him going forward. ๐ต๐ชย
Meanwhile, a familiar face returns! Yussef G from Colombia, who we recall previously came so close when he took silver back in November in his Top 15 debut, places 7th for the month of June with 19 games! ๐จ๐ดย
Jesus M, representing Honduras, grabs 8th place with 19 games played. Heโs also making his debut like many others in this monthโs leaderboard, so shouts go out to him! ๐ย
Michael J extends his Guinness World Record streak of never missing out on a POM leaderboard this month, too. Heโs already gone over a year without falling out of the Top 15, and with 18 games played in June, the man from Hong Kong grabs a hold of 9th place. Legend. ๐ย
From 10th to 13th are all familiar faces and have all made at least one Top 15 appearance this year! Funny enough, they all played 18 games. Congrats to Zack L (10th), Angie C (11th), Christopher K (12th) and Princess K (13th)! ๐
Finishing in 14th and 15th, respectively, are our last 2 Top 15 debutants for the month of June! Shouts goes out to Kwame P (Dallas/Ghana) & Gani S (South Florida/Venezuela), who both played 18 games as well! ๐ย
We love to highlight the growing diversity of the Plei App community. A total of 37 different countries filled up our top 100 in June, with 11 of those countries being represented in the Top 15. Overall, 112+ unique nationalities represented the entire Plei App this past month. The โBeautiful Gameโ in the flesh! โฅ๏ธย
We want to remind everyone that all players who make it into our monthly top 100 earn a free Plei App shirt! ๐
๐จREMINDER ๐จ: Throughout 2023, we will not be using one consistently updated link where you would all normally keep track of your leaderboard progress. Instead, a new link will be provided each month. ๐
Here is the final list for the Top 15 players of June 2023!
As a reminder, here are the prizes for the Top 15 players (updated as of September 2022)!

Ty has officially become the second player in Plei App history to not top our leaderboards more than once, but to do so in back to back months! ๐ณย
Who will do it next after Michael and Ty โ๏ธ
"Life is full of regrets, but it doesn't pay to look back." โ Zinedine Zidane ๐ซ๐ท
Our summer leaderboards are off to a hot start! Will you climb to the top of the Plei App rankings in July? ๐คโ๏ธ
