Bar Curtis C’s back-to-back victories in March & April, 2024 has been the year of new winners. July’s champion continues this trend. 👌
Absolutely destroying his previous personal record of 25 games is Donald S, who has now appeared in six of our seven leaderboards so far this year! We are so happy to finally crown him as champion; we know he’s been putting in plenty of work since debuting back in November, so he fully deserves what he has achieved this summer. 🔥
Although we didn’t bet on this next player to completely miss out on last month’s Top 15, we didn’t forget what he’s capable of. It’s double champ Curtis C in 2nd place for July! A strong 29-game performance brings him back to the podium since the last time he won gold in April. 😎
These next two ballers couldn’t be separated in July, which means they have each earned a bronze medal. They also happen to both be making their Top 15 debuts. It’s Steven C and DK K, each with 27 games played. Steven plays in Plei App ball out in Orlando, which makes him the second player from the region to appear in a leaderboard this year. He’s not alone in this feat, though. We’ll get to our other Central Florida representative shortly. ⏬
Meanwhile, DK balls out in Los Angeles, a region that has been making consistent appearances in the Top 15 for some time now. We won’t be surprised to see a winner come out of here soon enough. ⏳
Since we’ve got two players sharing 3rd place, that means we’ll be skipping 4th for this month. In 5th place is yet another player making his debut (a grand total of 8 debutants made the Top 15 in July!): Saleem A! This baller plays his footy over in our growing Denver region, a rare sight in our POTM reviews. 🏔️
It wasn’t so rare this time around, though, as another Denver baller actually made the list as well. Congrats also goes out to Haben G, who played 22 times in July to debut in 15th! 👏
Moving along, another Angolan baller makes an appearance just a month after the country’s Plei App Pioneer made a special return. It’s Jeff L in 6th place, who’s 25 games out in Los Angeles has earned him his second Top 15 appearance since his February debut. 2️⃣
The other Orlando baller we were talking about earlier is Andres R, who has achieved a new personal best of 25 games! The Peruvian man broke onto the scene exactly a year ago in our July 2023 review, and had gone on to also appear in our November 2023 list in 7th place. He has managed the same placement this time around as well. 🟰
Next up are our next pair of debutants: Greivin C in 8th place and Sam B in 9th, both with 24 games played! 🤝
Like many other Plei regions, DMV ballers don’t pop up too often in our Top 15, so it’s always special to be able to recognize the efforts of that community when they do. That being said, Greivin becomes the third player ever from that region to make a POTM leaderboard appearance. 🦅
That’s not the only thing there is to celebrate, though. Greivin is actually from Costa Rica, making him the first player from that country to ever make our rankings. Vamos! 🇨🇷
Sam, on the other hand, becomes the second French player to make an appearance in 2024, and the third all-time. 🇫🇷
Our June champion just couldn’t miss out, could he? Taka S finds himself in 10th place a month on from adding a gold medal to pair with his three silver medals that he accumulated in consecutive months. Perhaps just a bit of a break before he inevitably shoots back up the leaderboard throughout August. 📈
Guess who’s back? It’s Kevin D! You may remember him as one of our January 2024 co-champions. The Cuban baller from South Florida went on to appear in our March leaderboard where he established a new personal best of 25 games, but had been quiet since. 💤
Fortunately, that’s not the case anymore. Kevin finishes in 11th with 23 games played in July. 👌
It’s no secret anymore that one of our Plei App veterans is feeling as motivated as ever. Melchior V (13th) is back to make a 5th POTM appearance this year! His previous four appearances were made in consecutive months until he just barely missed out last month. A reminder that the South Floridian has been using the app since September 2018 and has amassed an insane 715 pickup games with us! 🤯
We wrap up our July review with our final two debutants of the month. Congrats to Cesar R (12th) and Robert S (14th)! 🥳
We love to highlight the growing diversity of the Plei App community. A total of 31 different countries filled up our Top 100 in July, with 9 of those countries being represented in the Top 15. Overall, 112+ unique nationalities represented the entire Plei App this past month. The “Beautiful Game” in the flesh! ♥️

Every month, we will be celebrating our Top 15 players based on games played:
4th through 15th placed players will receive 1 free game credit and 1 free shirt
2nd and 3rd placed players will receive 2 free game credits and 2 free shirts
The #1 player of the month will receive3 free Plei App dry fits to wear at the games plus 3 free game credits
Overall, our Top 15 players played a total of 376 times between them in July. Meanwhile, our Top 100 players of the month played a total of 1,749 times! 🙌
