Arriving just in time to coincide with the 2024 Copa América - which will see multiple fixtures, including the grand final, take place at the Hard Rock Stadium here in Miami - is a refreshing, never-before-seen take on the Beautiful Game.

Introducing the Copa Latina, presented by the Plei App! 🏆

Spread over two action-packed weekends in June at two separate locations, both men and women teams will be able to compete for a first-place cash prize ($2,500 for men, $1,000 for women) in single-day tournaments, all while fighting for the Latin American nation of their choice.

It all kicks off Saturday, June 15 at Soccer City, where an exclusively men’s 16-team tournament will take place. The following Saturday (June 22), the Copa Latina will head over to Stadio Soccer, where yet another men’s tournament will take place, as well as an 8 -team women’s tournament.

Designed to be a small-sided, yet expanded version of the Copa América, the tournament aims to showcase the rich talent pool of soccer players in the 305, all while fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship among participants and spectators alike.

Similar to this year’s edition of the Copa América which will see countries from both CONMEBOL and CONCACAF compete for the title, the Copa Latina offers the opportunity for Miami ballers to represent their roots… or perhaps get to know some unfamiliar colors.

Whether you want to take to the pitch representing the defending Copa America champs Argentina or break onto the scene (and make much of Miami proud) as Cuba, it’s entirely up to you to decide what flag to rep while you challenge for the inaugural Copa Latina trophy.

Remember: you don’t have to be from the country to represent them!

These aren’t just one-day tournaments for players; the Copa Latina is all about celebrating the Beautiful Game, as well as serving as a platform for long-term connections and relationships to be made. That being said, expect a full day of celebration for the whole family on both dates, where food, music, giveaways and plenty more exciting amenities will be at the forefront.

The Copa Latina is more than a soccer competition, it’s an immersive experience for everyone to enjoy. For those who aren’t participating in the tournament and are looking to take in all the footy vibes in what is bound to be a truly unique atmosphere, feel free to attend as a spectator!

The Copa Latina will be making a donation to The Little Lighthouse, an organization that helps kids and runs soccer camps. They will be on-site at Stadio Soccer for the June 22nd tournament to host a special game where kids will attempt to score a goal against Teddy, founder of the Copa Latina, who will be the designated goalkeeper. 🧤
