Well, he’s come out of nowhere, hasn’t he? 😅
Hailing from India and playing his Plei App footy in DFW, Shivendra S has absolutely blown the competition out of the water. With an insane 43-game performance in February, he has earned his first-ever gold medal while also making his first Top 15 appearance, which is easily the best-ever debut performance by a Plei App player! 🌟
We also can’t forget to mention another incredible statistic: Shivendra’s 43 games is officially the second-most played games in a single month by a Plei App user, only bested by none other than Michael Myers himself, Michael G. 🔪
If he continues this sort of form, we wouldn’t be surprised at all to see him rise to Michael’s status in a few months’ time. 🤷

The crazy statistics continue: we have a total of 11 players making their Top 15 debut in this leaderboard! The all-time record is 12, which we witnessed this past December. Is it a coincidence that we had so many players fall in love with the Plei App during February? We think not. 😘
Finding himself in second place is the second of these 11 debutants: Diego F! Playing 28 games, the Houston baller has not only earned himself a silver medal, but also a Pioneer badge for being the first player to represent Wallis & Futuna in the Top 15! 🇼🇫

For the next three spots, we take a brief break from highlighting our February debutants. In third place, it’s none other than Sergio S, one of our January co-champions! He couldn’t quite get the job done two months in a row, but he won’t mind! The Venezuelan has comfortably earned himself a bronze medal with a new personal record of 26 games played. 🆕🥉
Sergio isn’t messing about in 2024. Expect to see more of him throughout the rest of the year. 👀
Following a strong 22-game performance to kick off the year that saw the American finish on the podium for the first time, Donald S is back! This time around, he finishes in fourth and has also managed to play one more game than he did in January to establish a new personal record of 23 games. The South Floridian is really looking to establish himself as a POTM regular this year. 😎
Melchior V makes his first leaderboard appearance of the year by finishing in fifth place! If you keep up with our POTM blogs, you may recognize Melchior as being a Plei App veteran; he joined way back in September 2018! It’s always a pleasure to see the South Floridian make the Top 15 being one of our earliest users. 🗓️
He has finished on the podium in previous occasions but has never quite been able to take gold. Could he finally do it this year? We sure hope so! 🤞

In particular, we wanted to highlight the following two players who have earned Pioneer badges this past month: Izzatillo from Uzbekistan and Kebba from Gambia. 🇺🇿🇬🇲
A final Pioneer badge holder also made February’s Top 15. Bennet A returns to make a third consecutive appearance since debuting this past December! The Ethiopian places 10th. 🇪🇹

We love to highlight the growing diversity of the Plei App community. A total of 47 different countries filled up our Top 100 in February, with 11 of those countries being represented in the Top 15. Overall, 112+ unique nationalities represented the entire Plei App this past month. The “Beautiful Game” in the flesh! ♥️

Every month, we will be celebrating our Top 15 players based on games played:
4th through 15th placed players will receive 1 free game credit and 1 free shirt
2nd and 3rd placed players will receive 2 free game credits and 2 free shirts
The #1 player of the month will receive3 free Plei App dry fits to wear at the games plus 3 free game credits
Overall, our Top 15 players played a total of 343 times between them in February. And our Top 100 players of the month played a total of 1,554 times! 🙌
It’s pretty clear that Shivendra’s Valentine this past month was the Plei App and the beautiful game, as it should be. ⚽🥰
